"Get the thingies!"

Description

Vector is point-collecting arcade game for iOS revolving around objects of different shapes called thingies. The objective is to collect square shaped thingies to gather points while trying to avoid the other two shapes. Circle thingies are bad and will kill you immediately upon colliding with one of them. Ascended thingies are triangle-shaped and will become angered if you get too close to them. Angering an ascended thingy will cause it to follow you aggressively and curse you if you happen to touch it.

History

Vector started out as a Java game I was developing for OSX and Windows systems back in 2010. It was the first game I designed to utilize the MizuEngine framework I had built just months before. Originally it was called Impulse and used mouse input for controls. At the time of development, I was often busy with school and had very little time for implementation which made any real progress in the game rare. Eventually I abandoned the project in hopes that I could eventually have time to develop it on another platform like console or mobile.
